Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan saw a significant rise on Tuesday, increasing by Rs3,600 per tola. The new price reached Rs273,500, up from Rs269,900.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also climbed by Rs3,086, settling at Rs234,482, compared to the previous price of Rs231,396.
The price of 10-gram 22-karat gold also saw an increase, moving up to Rs214,942 from Rs212,113.
In contrast, the prices of silver remained unchanged, with the cost of one tola set at Rs3,250 and 10 grams at Rs2,786.
Globally, the price of gold also experienced an uptick, rising by $36 to reach $2,623, up from $2,587.
