Islamabad (Web Desk): Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir on Tuesday issued a stern warning, stating that anyone who attempts to obstruct Pakistan’s security efforts or interferes with the armed forces’ duties will face serious repercussions.
Speaking at the Apex Committee meeting, the COAS emphasized the importance of a united front in the battle against terrorism, declaring that every Pakistani, whether in uniform or not, is a soldier in this fight.
He also reiterated the paramount importance of the country’s constitution, highlighting that it is the foundation that binds all citizens and institutions.
“The constitution holds the armed forces and security agencies accountable for ensuring both the internal and external safety of the nation,” COAS Asim Munir said.
He commended the sacrifices made by members of the armed forces and law enforcement, noting that they continue to fill the gaps in governance daily through their dedication and the ultimate price paid by their martyrs.
