Tehran (Web Desk): Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a firm response to recent threats and mounting pressure from U.S. President Donald Trump, stating that Iran will not compromise on its national rights under any circumstances.

In a statement shared on the social media platform X, President Pezeshkian conveyed a clear message to Washington, emphasizing that Iran fully understands how to protect its national interests.

He said that Iran enters any dialogue with dignity, strength, and respect for its people’s rights, and will not retreat from its legal or defensive positions.

According to political and defence analysts, the remarks come in response to an ultimatum reportedly issued by Trump, warning of possible large-scale military action against Iran if an agreement is not reached on acceptable terms.

The Iranian president’s statement underscores Tehran’s position that it will not engage in negotiations from a position of weakness and will not trade away its sovereignty or national dignity under external pressure.
