Islamabad (Web Desk): The Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, has officially announced that the moon has not been sighted anywhere in Pakistan.
Speaking to the media at the conclusion of a meeting in Islamabad, he confirmed that no verified sighting reports of the moon were received from any part of the country.
According to the chairman, tomorrow will mark the 30th day of Ramadan, making the holy month a complete 30 days.
As a result, Eid-ul-Fitr 1447H will be celebrated across Pakistan on Saturday, March 21, with religious fervor.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad stated that reports from zonal committees and technical experts confirmed the absence of any Shariah-compliant moon sighting. Based on this consensus, the decision was unanimously made to observe Eid on March 21 nationwide.
