Ankara (Web Desk): The sudden and mysterious death of Turkish fashion influencer Ayşe Gül Eraslan has left fans and social media users in deep shock.
The 27-year-old influencer was found unconscious at her residence in the Kağıthane district of Istanbul.
According to her family, concern grew when they were unable to reach her for an extended period, prompting them to alert authorities. Rescue teams arrived at the scene and, after an initial assessment, confirmed her death.
Police and prosecutors later examined the scene, while her body was transferred for forensic analysis to determine the exact cause of death. Preliminary reports suggest that Eraslan had recently returned from a trip abroad.
During the investigation, security camera footage from the building was reviewed, showing a man identified as Sonay Kurtuluş entering her apartment and leaving shortly afterward.
He was questioned by police but released after giving his statement. His lawyers claim he was not present at the scene.
Authorities have not confirmed any foul play so far, but the case is being treated as suspicious, and investigations are ongoing.
Officials say the true cause of death will only be determined after the forensic report is completed.
