DPM Dar urges dialogue to resolve Middle East conflict

Riyadh  (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reiterated Pakistan’s firm support for the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and political independence of all friendly countries in the region.

Speaking at a meeting of Foreign Ministers from Arab and Islamic nations, he emphasized the urgent need to halt attacks on national territories and called for an immediate end to ongoing conflicts.

Highlighting the importance of Muslim unity, Ishaq Dar stressed that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only effective means to resolve tensions.

He urged regional leaders to address the root causes of the crisis to ensure lasting peace.

The Deputy Prime Minister strongly condemned Israel’s continued aggression and provocations against regional states, as well as unjustified attacks on civilians and critical infrastructure, including energy facilities.

He emphasized the importance of safeguarding regional energy security to prevent further global economic repercussions.

Ishaq Dar also briefed participants on Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic initiatives aimed at resolving the crisis and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to playing a constructive role in strengthening regional security.
