Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a significant rise on Tuesday, increasing by Rs2,550 to reach Rs317,350 per tola, compared to Rs314,800 on the previous trading day.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs2,186, moving from Rs269,890 to Rs272,076. The cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also went up by Rs2,004, reaching Rs249,412 from Rs247,408.
In the silver market, the price per tola of silver grew by Rs25, reaching Rs2,555, while the price for 10 grams increased by Rs21 to Rs3,047. Meanwhile, the international gold price experienced an uptick of $25, rising from $2,997 to $3,022, and silver also saw a modest increase of $0.25, climbing from $33.85 to $34.10.
These changes reflect the fluctuating trends in both local and global precious metal markets.
