Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold saw a significant rise on Wednesday, increasing by Rs1,650 to reach Rs319,000 per tola, as compared to its sale at Rs317,350 on previous trading day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also went up by Rs1,415, now priced at Rs273,491, up from Rs272,076.
The price of 22 karat gold for 10 grams climbed to Rs250,700, a rise from Rs249,412.
Meanwhile, the cost of silver remained stable, with the price for both per tola and per 10 grams holding steady at Rs2,555 and Rs3,047, respectively.
In the global markets, the price of gold also saw a modest uptick, rising by $16 to $3,038 per ounce, from $3,022. On the other hand, silver remained unchanged at $33.79 per ounce.
