PSL 3: Islamabad United beat Karachi Kings, qualify for final

Dubai (Staff Report): Islamabad United defeated Karachi Kings by 8 wickets in the play off Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 to be played at Dubai International Cricket Ground on Sunday.

Karachi Kings bat first and set a 154 runs target in 20 overs but Islamabad United defeated Kings scoring 155 in 12.3 overs.

Luke Ronchi and Sahibzada Farhan took a superb start and scored 69 just in 4 overs. The duo scored 91 on 42 balls when Sahibzada Farhan was out on 29 runs.

Following the victory Islamabad United has qualified for the final of PSL 2018 - to be played in Karachi on March 25 while the Karachi Kings will have another opportunity to make it to the big clash after beating Peshawar Zalmi or Quetta Gladiators in the next round.
