Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the relevant authorities to ensure complete transparency in all phases of the Jinnah Medical Complex (JMC) and Research Center project, which is to be built in Islamabad.
The premier issued these instructions while chairing a meeting on Thursday to review the progress of the project.
During the meeting, PM Shehbaz emphasized that the Jinnah Medical Complex would be a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with the latest medical technologies and advanced research infrastructure.
He said that the hospital is intended to serve not only Islamabad but the entire surrounding region with high-quality healthcare services.
The meeting was informed that international roadshows were organized in China, Turkiye, South Korea, and Singapore to promote the project, resulting in expressions of interest from globally recognized companies.
Additionally, two major conferences related to the project were held, with participation from 33 companies representing ten different countries.
The meeting was informed that the process of acquiring 600 kanals of land for the construction of this large-scale project is progressing rapidly.
Furthermore, advertisements have been published globally to recruit experienced experts and consultants, signaling the government's commitment to maintaining international standards in both planning and execution.
