Mumbai (Web Desk): Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was injured while shooting for his new action film King. He sustained injuries to his back and muscles during the shoot in Mumbai. While the injuries were not deemed severe, the actor underwent minor surgery as a precaution.
Doctors have advised him to rest for six weeks, after which Shah Rukh decided to travel to the United States for further treatment. Sources close to the actor revealed that his family is already in the U.S., and he is expected to stay there until at least September.
As a result of the injury, the shooting of King has been temporarily halted. Shah Rukh, who has been performing his own stunts in action films over the past few years, has faced similar injuries before due to his involvement in dangerous scenes.
