Riyadh (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, after concluding his official visit to Saudi Arabia, departed for London on Thursday.
At Riyadh Airport, he was seen off by Deputy Governor Prince Muhammad bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz.
The premier’s visit to the Kingdom came at the special invitation of Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a landmark Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement between the two nations.
The accord highlights the determination of both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to deepen defense collaboration, ensure peace and stability in the region and beyond, and establish a strong framework of joint deterrence.
As per the agreement, any hostile action against one country will be treated as an act of aggression against both, reaffirming their pledge to collective defense and security cooperation.
