Chaman (Web Desk): A powerful explosion at the border taxi stand in Chaman district has claimed the lives of six people, while three others sustained injuries.
Following the incident, the Balochistan government has ordered a thorough investigation.
According to the Assistant Commissioner, the blast occurred due to explosive material hidden in passengers’ luggage. The bodies of the deceased and the injured have been shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for medical treatment.
The Balochistan Home Department stated that security forces have cordoned off the area and launched investigations to determine the cause and nature of the explosion.
Security measures have been tightened in the area to prevent any further incidents.
