Toulouse, France (Web Desk): Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, Chairman of the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP), to highlight the nation's strides in higher education, is leading a 25-member delegation of Pakistani universities at European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference being held from September 17-20 in Toulouse, France.
The delegation includes vice chancellors, directors and deans of prominent universities of Pakistan.
In order to make Europe its partner in the field of high-quality education and research in Pakistan, for the first time in history, the Pakistan Pavilion has been set up in a four-day expo and conference under the support of renowned private universities of Pakistan.
APSUP Chairman Professor Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rahman inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion in Toulouse on Wednesday.
The national anthem of Pakistan was also recited at the opening of the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rahman said that representing Pakistan in the European Education Conference is a great initiative.
“Through the Pakistan Pavilion, several partnership agreements will be signed with the European universities, especially in the field of research. The agreements include exchange of students and faculty, joint research partnerships etc.,” the APSUP chairman said.
The Pakistan pavilion remained the focus of attention for several attendees who expressed deep interest in it.
EAIE Conference, which brings together academic leaders, educators, and policymakers from around the world, is a crucial platform for fostering international educational collaboration and partnerships.
It has been the leading platform for future planning and challenges in education for the past 34 years.
This year, more than 7,000 international higher education professionals and delegations from over 1,400 universities are expected to attend EAIE Conference and Exhibition.
