Govt releases ministry, division-wise summary of PSDP 2025-26

Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has unveiled a detailed ministry and division-wise overview of the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2025–26, highlighting a large-scale development allocation of over Rs837 billion.

The funds are aimed at speeding up infrastructure development, improving public service delivery, and reinforcing overall economic stability.

Official figures indicate that the approved development budget totals Rs833.34 billion, while development spending from July through April has already reached nearly Rs469.85 billion.

The PSDP 2025–26 focuses strongly on priority areas such as water management, national highways, education, energy-related infrastructure, and a range of regional development projects designed to support balanced progress across different parts of the country.

Data further shows that the Water Resources Division stands out as one of the major recipients within the federal development plan, with an allocation of Rs106.64 billion. Its development expenditures during the July–April period were recorded at Rs66.91 billion.
