Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held separate telephone conversations with Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled and Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to exchange Eid greetings and best wishes.
According to an official statement, both leaders extended their greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and expressed hopes for peace, prosperity, and well-being of their countries as well as the broader Muslim Ummah.
During his call with the Kuwaiti Crown Prince, PM Sharif conveyed good wishes for Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, strongly condemned recent attacks in Kuwait, and expressed sorrow over the loss of lives.
He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity and support for the people of Kuwait.
The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of maintaining regional peace and stability, urging that disputes be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.
He reaffirmed the strong historical and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Kuwait and invited the Kuwaiti Crown Prince for an official visit to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, in his conversation with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, PM Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s solidarity following recent attacks and discussed the importance of constructive dialogue, peace, and stability in the region.
Both leaders emphasized maintaining close contact and cooperation.
