Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a notable increase, with its value rising by Rs1,100 to reach Rs314,800 per tola on Monday, compared to Rs313,700 from the previous trading session.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also surged by Rs943, climbing to Rs269,890, up from Rs268,947, whereas, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs865, reaching Rs247,408 from Rs246,543.
On the other hand, silver prices remained stable, with both the per tola and 10-gram prices holding steady at Rs3,530 and Rs3,026, respectively.
In global markets, the price of gold rose by $13, settling at $2,997, up from $2,984, while silver prices remained unchanged at $33.85 per ounce.
