Shanghai (Web Desk): Pakistan and China have agreed to broaden cooperation in a range of strategic sectors, including commerce, investment, science and technology, the digital economy, and artificial intelligence, following high-level talks held in Shanghai.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, where both leaders reviewed the overall state of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, the two sides expressed satisfaction over the steady progress and enduring strength of their longstanding partnership, noting that cooperation between the two countries continues to expand across multiple fields.

Both delegations highlighted the significance of advancing the next phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC 2.0), stressing the importance of ensuring high-quality development under the flagship initiative.
The meeting also reaffirmed the shared resolve of Islamabad and Beijing to further reinforce their All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership and maintain the momentum of close bilateral engagement.
The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on recent regional and international developments, agreeing to remain in close contact and continue consultations on issues of common concern.
The two sides also renewed their commitment to working closely at multilateral forums, underscoring the importance of continued coordination on regional and global affairs.
