Tehran (Web Desk): Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned that if Iran faces another military attack, its retaliation will be far more severe and decisive than before. He stated that Iran’s previous response was only an initial show of strength, and the main force is yet to be unleashed.
In a televised statement, Khamenei emphasized that the Iranian people stand firmly against the United States and its allied Zionist regime. He warned that any new aggression would provoke a response greater than the missile strike on the Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar.
Last month, Iran launched missiles at the Al-Udeid Base, a key US military facility in the Middle East, escalating regional tensions. This came amid threats of strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities by Israel and the US.
Meanwhile, the US, UK, France, and Germany are urging Iran to resume nuclear talks, giving a deadline until the end of August. Western nations have warned that failure to restart negotiations could lead to tougher UN sanctions on Iran.
Iran’s parliament has taken a hardline stance, stating that talks cannot proceed without the US lifting its preconditions.
Khamenei also instructed Iranian diplomats to carry out their duties with full readiness and follow leadership orders, though he did not elaborate on those instructions.
