Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw an uptick in the domestic market, with the per tola rate rising by Rs400 to Rs282,600 on Friday, compared to the previous day's Rs282,200.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a modest increase of Rs342, moving from Rs241,941 to Rs242,283. In the same vein, the cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold advanced slightly, rising to Rs222,100 from Rs221,787.
On the other hand, silver prices experienced a downward shift. The per tola price of silver fell by Rs27, settling at Rs3,406, while the cost of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs23, bringing it to Rs2,920.
Meanwhile, on the global front, gold prices saw a minor rise of $2, with the price per ounce moving from $2,705 to $2,707.
