Gold price increases by Rs8,600 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold per tola surged by Rs8,600 on Thursday, reaching an all-time high of Rs350,000.

This marks a significant jump from its previous rate of Rs341,400. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs1,715, now standing at Rs300,068 compared to Rs298,353 a day earlier.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the rate for 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw an increase of Rs1,572, pushing the price to Rs275,072 from the earlier Rs273,500.

In contrast, silver prices experienced a slight decline. The rate for one tola of silver dropped by Rs59 to Rs3,401, while the price for 10 grams decreased by Rs51 to Rs2,915.

On the international front, the price of gold rose by $19, settling at $3,329 from the previous $3,310. 
Meanwhile, silver declined by $0.59, with the new rate recorded at $32.39.
