Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan have soared to a historic peak, marking a significant surge both in local and international markets. According to the latest figures, the price of gold per tola has increased by Rs 4,700, reaching a record-breaking Rs 391,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 4,030, bringing the new rate to Rs 335,219.
On the global front, gold prices also witnessed a sharp increase. The international price of gold climbed by $49, reaching $3,692 per ounce, signaling strong bullish momentum in the global market.
Analysts attribute this sharp rise to various factors, including economic uncertainty, inflationary pressures, and a decline in the value of the Pakistani rupee. Investors are increasingly turning to gold as a safe-haven asset, driving demand and pushing prices higher.
