Islamabad (Web Des/Agencies): The government on has reduced the price of petrol by Rs10 and the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs13.06 respectively.
"The Oil and Gas regulatory Authority (Ogra) has worked out the consumer prices of petroleum products, based on the price variations in the international market," a statement released by the Finance Division on Sunday night read.
The increase in the petroleum products will come into effect from September 16 (today), after which the price of petrol will Rs249.10 per litre and HSD will be sold at Rs249.69.
Meanwhile, the price of kerosene has been reduced by Rs11.15 and the price of light diesel oil by Rs12.12 per litre respectively.
