Arifwala (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that one hundred thousand electric bikes will be provided to students across the province, while laptops or tablets will also be distributed among students according to their needs.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of 10 Nawaz Sharif School of Eminence in Arifwala, the Punjab chief minister said the provincial government is taking extensive measures to improve the education sector and equip students with modern facilities.
Maryam Nawaz stated that out of 49,000 government schools in Punjab, 10,000 schools have already been upgraded as part of the government’s education reform initiatives.
She added that a Nawaz Sharif School of Eminence will be established in every tehsil of the province to provide quality education and better learning opportunities to students.
The chief minister said that every citizen living in Punjab is her responsibility and serving a population of 130 million people is a challenging task.
She emphasized that the provincial government is working to bring development projects across Punjab and improve public services.
Maryam Nawaz further said that the government is focusing on strengthening the education system, providing advanced learning resources to students, and creating more opportunities for young people to help them build a better future.
She highlighted that initiatives such as electric bikes, laptops, tablets, and upgraded educational institutions are aimed at supporting students and promoting access to modern education facilities throughout the province.
