Govt increases petrol price by Rs3.47, HSD by Rs2.61 per litre

Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has revised the prices of petroleum products increase in the prices of petroleum products, effective immediately.

In a statement from the Finance Division, it was confirmed that the price of petrol will rise by Rs3.47 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs256.13.

Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) will increase by Rs2.61 per litre, reaching Rs260.95.

These adjustments reflect ongoing trends in the global oil market, where prices have been on the rise.

In the previous fortnightly review, petrol saw a minor price hike of Rs0.56, while the price of HSD increased by Rs2.96.

As per the official sources, the regular revision of fuel prices is aligned with fluctuations in international oil prices.
