Third round of PML-N, PPP talks on govt formation postponed till Saturday: sources

Islamabad (Web Desk): The third round of the coordination committees of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on formation of government has been postponed until Saturday, the sources said.

The coordination committees of the two parties were set to conduct third consultation session today (Friday) to finalise recommendations after consulting with their respective political leadership.

Earlier, the coordination committees concluded their second round of talks in Islamabad for progress on government formation.

Senator Ishaq Dar, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, and Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan represented PML-N while Syed Murad Ali Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Saeed Ghani, Sardar Bahadur Khan Sehar, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Shazi Khan represented the PPP.
