This referendum aims to assert the democratic rights of Sikhs and seeks global recognition of their peaceful political struggle.
U.S. authorities have approved the referendum, viewing it as a defense of Sikh democratic rights and a show of support for their political freedom. In a significant move, the US. court has deported Indian agent Nikhil Gupta and a RAW officer for conspiring to assassinate Sikh leader Gurpatwant Pannun. This action strengthens international backing for the Sikh community against India.

Additionally, Canada, the US, and Australia have exposed Indian covert networks and ensured the protection of Sikh activists.
Since 2021, the Khalistan referendum has been successfully conducted in eight countries. International courts have dismissed India’s petitions against Sikh rights and have recognized the peaceful nature of the Sikh struggle.
Despite Indian propaganda and pressure, Western judicial bodies have rejected Indian requests to declare the Khalistan referendums illegal.
