Meanwhile, several countries, including Saudi Arabia, Iran, Turkiye, and Kuwait, have extended their condolences to Pakistan following the devastating floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that resulted in significant loss of life.
The foreign ministries of Saudi Arabia and Turkiye released statements offering their condolences and support to the government and people of Pakistan.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian shared his condolences in a message on social media and also offered assistance to help those affected by the floods.
Foreign Minister of Kuwait telephoned Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, expressing sorrow over the loss of lives and extending an offer of aid for the flood-hit communities.
