Peshawar (Web Desk): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Minister for Works and Communications Shakeel Ahmed Khan has resigned from his position, citing corruption within the provincial government.
In a statement issued in Peshawar on Friday, he said that it is not possible for him to remain a part of the cabinet in the corrupt system.
Meanwhile, addressing a news conference, KP government spokesperson’s Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said Minister for Communications and Works Shakeel Ahmed Khan has been removed after a report submitted by a committee formed against corruption.
