The launching ceremony took place in Lahore and included a formal passing out parade of the newly formed force.
The event was attended by senior government officials, ministers, and dignitaries, reflecting the importance of the initiative.
During the event, the Punjab CM also introduced two important environmental systems aimed at improving regulatory control and pollution management in Punjab.
The systems include Environmental Approval Management System and the Emission Testing System.

In a move to support the force’s mobility and promote sustainable transport, the Punjab CM announced the provision of 25 hybrid vehicles and 200 electric bikes.
These resources are expected to enhance the force’s operational efficiency while aligning with clean energy goals.
Furthermore, the government has introduced advanced equipment including 360-degree surveillance vehicles, thermal drones, and mobile air quality monitoring stations, enabling real-time environmental data collection and response.
Maryam Nawaz hoisted the flag of the Environment Protection Authority in a symbolic act of commitment to the cause.
