Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday held a meeting with Hamish Falconer MP, the UK Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), during which both sides discussed Pakistan–UK relations and exchanged perspectives on regional as well as international developments.
In a statement, Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson said that DPM Dar received the visiting British minister at the meeting.
Hamish Falconer MP acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s positive and constructive diplomatic efforts in supporting and facilitating the recent US-Iran agreement.
DPM Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm belief in dialogue and diplomacy as essential tools for achieving long-term peace and stability across the region.
The two sides also underlined their mutual commitment to further enhancing and strengthening bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
