DPM Ishaq Dar joins SCO FMs joint call on President Xi Jinping

Beijing (Web Desk/Agencies): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar took part in a joint engagement of the Foreign Ministers from Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday.

The meeting was held in Tianjin, where President Xi extended a warm welcome to the visiting dignitaries and emphasized the critical importance of regional collaboration through the SCO, which spans a vast portion of the Eurasian continent and represents a significant share of the world’s population.

During his visit, Deputy Prime Minister Dar held a bilateral discussion with Kulubaev Zheenbek Moldokanovic, the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan, on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers' session.

The two officials reiterated the strength of the historic ties between their nations and expressed a mutual desire to further deepen cooperation across all sectors of shared interest.

In a separate engagement, Dar also conferred with his Kazakh counterpart, Murat Nurtleu.

The dialogue focused on reaffirming the commitment to enhancing Pakistan-Kazakhstan relations and exploring ways to broaden collaboration in regional and international frameworks.
