President Zardari, PM Shehbaz condole death of citizens in Sydney terrorist attack

Islamabad (Web Desk): President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have expressed profound grief over the horrific shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney, which has claimed several lives and left many others injured.

According to a statement issued by the President’s Secretariat Media Wing, President Zardari extended heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished a speedy recovery to the injured, including police officers who were harmed while responding to the incident.

Reflecting on Pakistan’s own struggles with terrorism, President Zardari said the country fully understands the anguish and trauma such attacks bring to communities.

He denounced violence against innocent civilians and affirmed Pakistan’s support for the people and government of Australia during this challenging time, reaffirming the nation’s unwavering stance against all forms of terrorism.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also conveyed his sympathy to the victims of the Bondi Beach attack. 
Sharing his message on X, he said, “My deepest condolences to the victims of the tragic terrorist attack at Bondi Beach, Sydney. Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. We stand in solidarity with the people and government of Australia in this difficult time.”
