Islamabad (Web Desk): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast rain and snowfall in different parts of the country.
According to the report, fog is expected to persist in several areas of Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The weather in Islamabad and its surrounding areas is expected to remain cold, with overcast skies today, while light rain may occur in Murree and its vicinity. In Kashmir, some areas are expected to experience rainfall and light snowfall in the mountainous regions.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, there is also a chance of rain at some locations, along with snowfall in the higher altitudes. Similarly, areas like Chitral, Dir, Swat, and Kohistan may witness rain and light snowfall in the mountains. Rain and snowfall are also expected in Battagram, Bajaur, Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber.
In Balochistan, light rain and snowfall are forecast in Quetta, Pishin, and areas such as Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, and Zhob. Light rain and snowfall may also occur in some parts of Sindh, including Sukkur, Rohri, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Larkana, and Mohenjo Daro, with fog likely to persist in these regions.
