Jeddah (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Saudi Arabia on an official trip focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exchanging views on important regional matters.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif landed in Jeddah, where he was received at the Royal Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport by the Governor of Jeddah.
Senior diplomatic representatives, including Pakistan’s ambassador and consul general were also present on the occasion.
During the visit, the prime minister is scheduled to engage in key discussions with the Saudi leadership, including a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The trip takes place at a time when Pakistan is working to strengthen its economy and expand its global partnerships.
He is expected to meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during the visit.
Talks between the two sides will centre on enhancing cooperation across various sectors, promoting economic ties, and discussing efforts aimed at ensuring regional peace and security.
Officials indicate that both countries will also assess their ongoing strategic and financial collaborations.
The visit is part of the prime minister’s four-day regional tour from April 15 to 18, which also includes trips to Qatar and Turkey.
He is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Atta Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
In both Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the prime minister will meet senior leadership to discuss trade, investment prospects, and regional stability.
He will later travel to Turkey to participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he is also expected to hold meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other international leaders.
