Gold price increases by Rs6,900, reaches to Rs435,100 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold continued its upward streak on Tuesday, touching a historic peak as the price of 24-karat gold per tola jumped by Rs6,900 to settle at Rs435,100, compared to Rs428,200 recorded a day earlier, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).

The rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also witnessed a notable increase of Rs5,916, reaching Rs373,028 from the previous Rs367,112. Likewise, 10 grams of 22-karat gold were valued at Rs341,954 after gaining Rs5,423 from Rs336,531.

In the international bullion market, gold registered a sharp rise of $69, trading at $4,140 per ounce, up from $4,071 in the preceding session.

However, silver prices showed no movement, with per tola silver steady at Rs5,247 and 10 grams unchanged at Rs4,498. Globally, silver rates also remained flat at $51.60 per ounce.
