World Cup 2023: India bowl first against Pakistan

Ahmadabad (Web Desk): India won the toss and decided to field first against arch-rivals Pakistan in the biggest and most awaited match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's Cricket World Cup being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in India's Ahmadabad today (Saturday).

 The two teams are competing in what is being touted as one of the biggest clashes in the mega cricket tournament with the Babar Azam-led Green Shirts and Rohit Sharma's Men In Blue aiming to claim victory today.

According to media reports, millions of sports fans are anticipated to pack restaurants, streets, markets, and malls in India and Pakistan and elsewhere in the world.

 India have a perfect 7-0 record against Pakistan in the 50-overs World Cup and are also the top-ranked ODI team, who have won both their games in the tournament so far.

However, Pakistan also have won two matches at the World Cup after seeing off the Netherlands and Sri Lanka.
