Gold price decreases by Rs5,500 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold witnessed a notable decline on Thursday, falling by Rs5,500 per tola to Rs266,400, down from Rs271,900.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs4,716, bringing it down to Rs228,395 from Rs233,111, while, the price of 10-gram 22-karat gold also dropped, falling to Rs209,362 from Rs213,685.

Silver prices, however, remained stable, with per tola silver holding steady at Rs3,250, while 10 grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs2,786.

Meanwhile, the international market also saw a dip in gold prices, with the value per ounce dropping by $55, from $2,607 to $2,552, the association reported.
