Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan Army destroyed oil storage installations at Kandahar Airfield in a focused strike conducted as part of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq.
According to the security sources, the action was carried out during the night of March 12 and 13, when Pakistani forces launched carefully planned strikes that successfully wiped out the oil storage depots located at the airfield in Kandahar.
Footage released following the operation presents distinct before-and-after scenes of the targeted locations, demonstrating the scale and precision of the military assault.
Security officials said the oil reserves were being utilised by the Afghan Taliban as well as other militant factions to sustain and facilitate their operations.
The strike is said to be part of a broader campaign in the area intended to dismantle the logistical infrastructure and operational capabilities of militant networks.
Security sources further stated that Operation Ghazab lil-Haq will proceed until its strategic aims are accomplished, adding that the military remains determined to pursue firm measures against terrorism.
