Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices in Pakistan have hit a new record.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola has increased by another Rs4,300, reaching a historic high of Rs486,162 per tola.
The association also reported that the price of 10 grams of gold has risen by Rs3,687, bringing the cost of 10 grams to Rs416,805.
On the global market, the price of gold has increased by $43, now standing at $4,638 per ounce.
Experts suggest that this continuous rise in gold prices is driven by global financial conditions and the devaluation of the local currency. Investors are being encouraged to consider gold as a safe investment, but experts also caution that further fluctuations in prices are expected.
