Islamabad (Web Desk): Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that Pakistan is poised to enhance its financial ties with China by issuing yuan-denominated panda bonds, potentially as early as June.

In an exclusive interview with South China Morning Post, he said that Pakistan aims to raise between $200 million and $250 million from Chinese investors, signaling its intention to broaden the country’s financing options.

Muhammad Aurangzeb stressed the importance of diversifying Pakistan's sources of capital, which he considers crucial for economic stability.

The finance minister also underscored the growing collaboration between Pakistan and China, particularly in relation to the next phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which will strengthen bilateral economic integration and foster further infrastructure development.
