Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced that Rajanpur and the Katcha areas have been completely cleared of criminal elements.
Addressing a high-level meeting on the success of the Katcha operation, CM Maryam Nawaz said that in the past, dacoits had effectively created a “state within a state,” spreading fear among local communities and even carrying out kidnappings.
She added that government authority has now been fully restored in these regions. The Chief Minister also emphasized that the operation was completed without any loss of life, and areas that were once dominated by fear have now become fully under the rule of law.
