Islamabad (Web Desk/Agencies): The government on Tuesday decreased the price of Motor Spirit (MS) Petrol by Rs8.47 per liter and high speed diesel (HSD) by Rs6.70 per liter.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol was fixed at Rs 260.96 per liter as against its existing price of Rs269.43 per liter.
Meanwhile, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) was decreased by Rs6.70 per liter as HSD would be available at Rs266.07 per liter as compared to its previous price of Rs272.77 per liter during next fortnight starting from August 14, 2024.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has worked out the consumer prices of petroleum products, based on the price variations in the international market,” it said.
The prices of Motor Spirit and HSD for the next fortnight, starting from 14th August, 2024, are accordingly being revised, it added.
