World Cup 2023: Arch-rivals Pakistan, India to lock horns on Saturday

Ahmadabad (Web Desk): The biggest and most awaited match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's Cricket World Cup between arch-rivals Pakistan and India will be played on October 14 (tomorrow).

Pakistan vs India, the 12th match of the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 will be played at 1:30 PM local time at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmadabad, India.

Full preparations are going on for the important match of the global event on behalf of the national team. The national cricket team participated fully in the training session to prepare for the match. The players practised batting, bowling and fielding to overcome their weaknesses.

The weather is expected to be hot and humid on this high voltage match day between Pakistan and India.

 According to Indian media, the weather is predicted to be hot and dry on Saturday, with the temperature expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius.

No opening ceremony was held for the 2023 World Cup but the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has organised a pre-match show featuring some of the country's best musicians ahead of the high-profile Pakistan-India encounter.

Popular Indian singers like Arijit Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, and Shankar Mahadevan will perform at the pre-match function. The ceremony before the Pakistan India match will start at 12 noon local time while the match will be played at 1:30pm local time.
