PM Kakar vows to wipe out all anti-state elements from country

Peshawar (Web Desk): Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar on Friday reaffirmed his commitment to wipe out all the anti-state elements from the country.

Talking to media in Peshawar, the premier said that the policy regarding Afghan refugees is clear. He said illegally staying foreigners will be sent to their countries.

Referring to negotiations with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), he rejected the rumours and said that writ of the state will be established at all costs and no dialogue will be held with the anti-state elements.

Kakar said no compromise will be made over the security of the country.

Responding to a question regarding elections , the premier said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will issue the schedule for the general elections and the interim government will conduct the elections within constitutional limits.

Kakar hoped that petroleum prices will be reduced in the country to provide relief to the public.
He said foreign debts of the country have reduced by four thousand billion rupees due to strengthening of the rupee against dollar.

Responding to another query, the prime minister said all the political parties, registered with the ECP, will contest the general elections.

Earlier, talking to a delegation of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) in Peshawar on Friday, PM Kakar hailed the bravery of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who combat the challenge of terrorism successfully.

The prime minister said all the segments of the society were badly affected by the terrorism.

He said that the martyr Commandant of Frontier Constabulary sacrificed his life for the defence of the nation.

He said the nation is fully proud of the sacrifices rendered by the law enforcement authorities for the protection of the motherland.

The prime minister said the nation can’t forget the price of blood of those who paid for the nation.

He said that ninety thousand people have been martyred in the war against terror.
PM Kakar reaffirmed his commitment to provide maximum relief to the public within the limited resources and the ambit of the constitution.

The prime minister hailed the traditional hospitality of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and said Pashto and Peshawar are interlinked with each other. He stressed the need for coming closer on the basis of local language.

The prime minister, who was on first visit to Peshawar after assuming the office, assured the business community to address their genuine issues through consultation.

He also lauded his cabinet as “capable and dedicated” people who were serving the country within their mandate.

Earlier, the prime minister also listened to the issues highlighted by the delegation members.
On this occasion, a traditional turban, shield and a booklet were also presented to the prime minister.
