Peshawar (Web Desk): The Armed Forces of Pakistan launched a series of precise air raids inside Afghanistan, striking facilities linked to the 313 Corps in Kabul and the Tarawo militant training site in Kandahar in response to unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban.
According to security sources, the action was taken as a response to what authorities described as unprovoked hostility from the Afghan Taliban.
According to security sources, the operations were conducted during the night of March 12 and 13, when Pakistani forces successfully engaged four locations believed to be used by militants.
These sites included positions associated with the Afghan Taliban as well as elements of Fitna al-Khwarij.
Officials added that the aerial strikes also destroyed a fuel storage depot at Kandahar Airfield along with nearby logistical support facilities.
In a separate airstrike, Pakistani forces targeted the Sherinaw militant camp situated in Afghanistan’s Paktia province, the sources said.
The security sources, reaffirming Pakistan’s stance that Operation Ghazab lil-Haq will continue until its objectives are achieved.
