Lahore (Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has introduced a new scheme to provide 3 Marla plots for free to individuals in need, aiming to offer affordable housing opportunities.

She made this announcement during her visit to the Zahra Homes/Maskan Ravi Scheme in Kala Shah Kaku, where she closely examined the progress of the project.

During the visit, the Punjab CM presented allotment letters and keys to 100 families, showing her approval of the quality and amenities offered within the housing project.

The Zahra Homes project, situated in Mouza Nehra Pur on Kala Khatai Road in Lahore, consists of 100 houses, each covering 400 square feet. Each unit features two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a small courtyard, designed to provide a comfortable living space.

These homes are built using modern technology, incorporating earthquake-resistant structures and energy-efficient systems.

The use of EPS Smart Panel Technology enhances the environmental sustainability of the homes.

In addition, every house is equipped with a 5 kW solar power system. The surrounding community provides residents with necessary services, including a clean water RO plant, a school, a mosque, a playground, and a dispensary.

This housing initiative is a collaborative effort between the Punjab Government's Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and EPS Solutions Pakistan.

During the event, a documentary was also shown, highlighting the significant contributions of PML-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

Provincial Minister for Housing, Bilal Yasin, also addressed the gathering, underscoring the importance of such schemes in improving living standards for the people.
