Gold price decreases by Rs1,500 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a decline of Rs1,500, with per tola gold being sold for Rs279,300 on Monday, down from Rs280,800 the previous day.

According to the Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,286, falling from Rs240,741 to Rs239,455.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also experienced a decrease, from Rs220,679 to Rs219,500.

Meanwhile, the prices of silver remained stable, with per tola silver holding steady at Rs3,350 and the price of 10 grams remaining at Rs2,872.08.

On the global front, the price of gold saw a slight dip in the international market, dropping by $15 to $2,675, down from $2,690.
