Lahore (Web Desk): Internet connectivity and YouTube services have reportedly been disrupted in several parts of Pakistan, leaving users facing slow speeds and difficulties accessing online platforms.
According to Downdetector, a website that tracks the performance of online services, users from different parts of the country have reported problems accessing YouTube as well as issues with their internet connections.
Complaints from users include reduced internet speeds, repeated connectivity interruptions and difficulties accessing some online services.
Downdetector's data also showed a sudden increase in reports of service-related problems, indicating a possible widespread disruption affecting internet connectivity.
Meanwhile, users of PTCL's network have also reported connectivity issues. However, the exact cause of the disruption has not yet been determined.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and PTCL have so far not issued an official statement explaining the cause of the service disruption or providing details about efforts to restore normal connectivity.
