69% of Punjab residents express satisfaction with CM Maryam’s leadership, reveals survey

Lahore (Web Desk): A recent public opinion survey has revealed that 69% of residents in Punjab are satisfied with the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and consider the province to be heading in the right direction.

According to the findings shared by a government spokesperson, the survey reflects strong public approval of the current governance and policy direction in the province. It suggests that a significant majority of respondents view ongoing administrative and development efforts positively.

The survey further indicates that 32% of participants rated the Chief Minister’s performance as “outstanding,” while 31% described it as “good.” These figures point to a generally favorable perception of the provincial leadership among the public.

In terms of development initiatives, 56% of respondents stated that the launch of various infrastructure and welfare projects has contributed to an increase in the Chief Minister’s popularity.

When asked about specific programs, 33% of respondents appreciated the “Suthra Punjab” cleanliness campaign, 30% highlighted women’s welfare and protection initiatives, and 29% expressed satisfaction with improvements in public transport services.

Additionally, 55% of those surveyed said they would prefer to vote based on performance in future elections, indicating a growing trend toward governance-based political preferences.

Overall, the survey suggests increasing public confidence in the provincial government’s direction and development agenda.
